Frequently asked questions
How does the free trial work? Haulbeam is free for 30 days. The trial starts the first time you begin it on your device and runs for 30 calendar days. After it ends, a subscription is required to keep using the paid features.
How much does Haulbeam cost after the trial? Haulbeam Pro is A$3.99 per week, billed through your Apple ID. It renews automatically each week until you cancel.
How do I cancel my subscription? Open the iOS Settings app → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → Haulbeam → Cancel Subscription. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the current period.
How do I restore my subscription on a new device? In Haulbeam, go to Settings → Restore Purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID you subscribed with.
Why does Haulbeam need my location? Location is used to plan truck-safe routes, show your position, warn you about restrictions and hazards, and run turn-by-turn navigation — including in the background while you drive.
How does "Hey Map" voice control work? Say "Hey Map" followed by a command (for example, "navigate to the nearest truck stop"). Your speech is transcribed on your device; only the text of your command is sent to interpret it.
How do I report a hazard? Tap the hazard button on the map, or say "Hey Map, report …", and choose the type. Reports are shared with nearby drivers to help everyone stay safe.
How do I delete my account and data? In Haulbeam, go to Settings → Delete account. After confirming, we delete your driver profile, your push/location record, and the hazard reports you submitted, and we erase local data from your device. See the Privacy Policy for what is retained and why.
A route or restriction looks wrong — what should I do? Coverage of bridges and restrictions is not exhaustive and can be out of date. Always follow road signage and the law — you remain responsible for your vehicle's compliance. You can flag problems in the app via Settings → Report a problem, or email us.
